Our competitors subcontract to us when they cannot do the job. Here are the reasons we are the most sought after lab:
Carbon Monoxide at 0.001 ppmv
Hydrogen Sulfide, Carbonyl Sulfide,Methyl Mercaptan and Carbon Disulfide at 0.001 ppbv
Total Sulfur at 0.1 ppbv
Ammonia at 0.004 ppmv
Formaldehyde at 0.001 ppmv
Formic Acid at 0.0005 ppmv
Helium at 10 ppmv
To reduce the threat of automobile emissions, hydrogen fuel usage is on the rise due to its environmentally safe emissions - just water. The caveat is that the hydrogen fuel cells themselves require an extremely pure source of hydrogen. In other words the hydrogen used in these fuel cells needs to be clean of any other compounds or particulates. This poses a major obstacle to manufacturers of these high tech fuel cells: Quality management. Manufacturers need to know the quality and reliability of their product - hydrogen fuel. With progressive improvement upon current technology, manufacturers need to know whether any changes to their processes actually improves the quality of their fuel cells.
SmartChemistry is in the future of fuel cell transportation. We perform sampling of particulates and gaseous samples of hydrogen fuel at the nozzle using ASTM methods. Our trace analysis of non-hydrogen constituents in hydrogen fuel leads the industry with detection limits lower than SAE J2719.
